Some notes from one of the chaperones on the trip, Ben Griffith.
These are pictures of the largest Pagoda in China. Built 2000 years ago, destroyed in war 600 years ago, rebuilt 70 year ago. When we stop for a group photo crowds gather to take our picture as many Chinese have never seen Americans in person. Our varied colors, hair and clothing is unusual. Hard to remember WE are the foreigners.
Also, some pictures from lunch Sunday (4/5). All meals have served 'family' style with plenty of local flare. Shrimp, fish, spinach, and soup at every lunch and dinner. Kids are all bonding as a group and really enjoying each other and looking out for each other
